Job Description

Our client one of the leading construction services in UAE requires Credit Controller for their operations in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be a Male with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in the said role.

Job descriptions:

  • Bank cash/cheque & post receipts into accounting system.
  • Enforce payment terms, follow-up and retrieve customer payments for all invoices while prioritizing in terms of importance and aging
  • Resolve all situations pertaining to complaints, disputes, returns and deductions.
  • Communicate constantly with General Manager/Finance and Commercial counterparts to inform them of customer credit issues and answer internal requests.
  • Flag & escalate action on overdue accounts.
  • Manage the blocking and releasing orders with credit issues or risks.
  • Generate, monitor and publish aging report on monthly basis and as and when required.
  • Initiate process improvements.
  • Report relevant KPIs.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in SAGE 200 accounting software
  • Energetic , motivated and hardworking individual looking for career progression in an growing international company;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) – able to communicate clearly with customers and internal management team
  • Previous experience in credit control – basic understanding of key credit policies
  • Experience in construction related industry.
